It will surely fare great for Europe, that heavily relies on importing ressources and exporting goods to get itself entirely disregarded by the rest of the world...
Is that "rest of the world" hailing Hamas as brave freedom fighters like Erdogan does in the room with you right now?
Saying "we dont like and need Turkey so fuck them, because they are not on our side." is also telling the test of the world that we will fuck them if they arent on our side for a specific issue. This is not relevant to the current issue.
And Erdogan has a point that the EUs divided and often ignorant towards Israels war crimes stance, is undermining the trust of the world into Europe. Someone who applies standards only selectively has no standards. And if the seperation line tends to revolve around how 'western" the actors are, it does not fare well with countries whose history with Europe is already defined by brutal European colonialism, so pretty much all of South and Central America, Africa, South Asia and Oceania.
Erdogans praise for Hamas is despicable, but unfortunately he manages to put a finger in a wound here we inflicted on ourselves.
