And still only some voice recordings posted to Telegram? Seems like it would be just as easy to post a video-- surely he'd want everyone to know he's alive.

Couple that with the fact no one can get the story straight.... To quote Judge Judy: "If it doesn't make sense it probably isn't true". Sounds like he's incarcerated, incognito, or incapacitated.
