Posting Etiquette

  1. Ask the main part of your question in the title. This should be concise but informative.

  2. Provide everything up front. Don't make people fish for more details in the comments. Provide background information and examples.

  3. Be present for follow up questions. Don't ask for help and run away. Stick around to answer questions and provide more details.

  4. Ask about the problem you're trying to solve. Don't focus too much on debugging your exact solution, as you may be going down the wrong path. Include as much information as you can about what you ultimately are trying to achieve. See more on this here: https://xyproblem.info/

I'm skeptical on this being a good resource for learning to program. But It's the first time I've seen Odin being used in an introductory resource. Would you recommend this to someone looking to learn programming?

The guy that designedand named Odin didn't even know what The Odin Project was when he was asked about it. And the (different) guy that made the linked article and video seems to just like the language so I don't think there's any attempt to capitalize on the popularity of The Odin Project.

The community and ecosystem around Odin seems limited, but before you even get to that, the content in this article seems lacking. There's a single followup article and then that's it. I don't know if they plan to continue this series. If they don't, I don't know why they wrote it at all.
