is craigslist old ass or timeless?
Do people really use it anymore? I feel like Facebook marketplace and other things like that have replaced it.
are you kidding i'm on there constantly
I bought my motorcycle through it, and sold my old car through it. I also rented a room through it a while back. I check other sites too but I consistently find that the best deals wind up on Craigslist.
Someone saying they've never heard of CL definitely made me feel like this image
Marketplace is popular but garbage design and intentions.
Craigslist is a bit more sparse but does exactly what it is designed to do, simply and effectively.
found my apartment on there a couple years back. many more before this one too.
I've gotten multiple jobs from postings there. Sold some stuff & bought some stuff.
It's an online classifieds site, that is better in every UX metric besides 'doesn't look like latest webshit' than the attempts at supplanting it like FB market, offerup, etc. The only people using those and not CL are fb [b/z]oomer types who are allergic to technology.
like the other reply said, I'll search on the other shit (well offerup anyway, you couldn't pay me to get on FB) but CL's the consistent one
I still use it but FB Marketplace has eclipsed it for the most part.
