Then they throw the biggest pity party when people make fun of them back. Velma may have been shit, but the main reason why it got so much attention and bad reviews is that white people were knocked down a peg in the show. Something that does NOT sit well with society. They don't believe in bad tactics, only bad targets. At least the whole point of making fun of white people is to show how wrong prejudiced humor is because NO ONE stands for it when white people are the subject of ridicule.

Going back to like the late 90s/early 00s, white people I knew got so mad that Chris Rock would make jokes about “white people be like” and they could make racist jokes about black people in response.
