Whatever your thoughts on the governance of that platform, there is still an unfortunate amount of information that is only easily accessible via Reddit.
oh and I get that. but still not gonna stop me cringing whenever im exposed to it.
Cringing is fine; cringe whenever the hell you want. The problem is with your banal comment.
is the banal comment where I express my feelings about something? Should I keep that bottled up lest it offend someone soooooo much on the web. OMG that person expressed his cringe on something. Its so aweful lets have a half a dozen exchanges on how bad that is.
You didn't express shit. You said "cringe" with no other text. There's no productive commentary provided. It's the same as replying "^this"
The very definition of SPAM.
I feel I did and it is the way I will express myself in future. I might even reply to something with ^this. I do do that. So you might see these as long as you can see my comments. Which you don't have to do because of the federations config options. Im sorry you feel so strongly about what I post but again you have options. So if im on a post not about the "cringe" reddit but its mentioned in a comment. I will repsond with cringe. or not. depending how I feel that way. If the post was about it I likely did not click on it since. well. "cringe"
