Again, these sorts of tribal sentiments for products is pathetic and embarrassing. They're both OSes from two massive corporations that couldn't give two shits about you. Be as pragmatic about this as they are to everyone else.

Actually that's incorrect. One is a closed system, and the other is open source and accessible by the entire planet, and not specific to any corporation. You are confusing it with either Samsung or Google. Android works outside of their ecosphere. The only tribalists are the Apple fanbois as it's the only actual tribe
