UNRWA took back that accusation. Any other source?
Im gonna push back a bit on this. Hamas has a history of kidnapping and threatening UNRWA for speaking ill of them. https://nationalinterest.org/blog/middle-east-watch/how-hamas-took-unrwa-hostage-187110
Not to mention that the "clarification" tweet they made walking back the claim was incredibly strange https://twitter.com/UNRWA/status/1713950145618841820
"With regards to reports on social media of looting of an UNRWA warehouse..." What do you mean by "reports on social media"??? That was you fam???
Considering UNRWA's history with violent threats and attacks from Hamas for talking poorly of them, I have strong reason to believe that their walk back was done under duress.
Ah i see, that could be why they walked it back then. Assuming they did steal it, how much diesel was the UNRWA facility storing? I heard on an interveiw with CNN an IDF person said they had 1000L of diesel, which isn't gonna power a hospital (or anything else for that matter) for very long at all.
According to initial reports it was enough for 8 days. Not an insane amount of course. Under the assumption that it did occur (which I believe to be more likely than not), i feel like one could easioy see how this event would make nations hesitant to send fuel which could end up in the hands of Hamas and other militant groups that use fuel for their rockets and combat.
A desperate terrorist group will definitely eye any fuel it can including those given for humanitarian causes. That leaves nations with a difficult yet fairly obvious choice given the circumstances. 1. Provide fuel and hope that it isnt taken (of course if it is taken then they still end up with no fuel) or 2. Not risk more literal fuel used against them.
Does hamas have diesel powered rockets??? Like i guess you can power motorcycles but I was under the impression that hamas used sugar rocket motors or something similar, cause like how are they gonna use liquid rocket engines.
I know that 1000L lasts for like a couple hours at best so the IDF has to get their story straight, where are they getting the 8 days figure.
Oh no i conflated the 8 day figure with another article about hospitals from last week. That is completely my bad. You are right here.
Reading articles right now it does appear that it is Isreal that is not allowing fuel to be delivered to Gaza while allies are trying to plead with Israel to allow for safe passage of humanitarian aid. Article from minutes ago https://www.reuters.com/world/middle-east/israel-promises-unrelenting-attacks-hamas-us-obama-urge-caution-2023-10-24/
It still remains difficult because of how Hamas is not bound by any pressure to follow the agreement for safe passage of aid. What an awful situation. Israel is definitely being overzealous in not allowing the US to let fuel in on the aid convoys agreed on.
I mean I think that if Israel allows food, water, and gas to enter Gaza through humanitarian corridors, Hamas isn't gonna attack the convoys. They disregard the consequences for Palestinian civilians sometimes but they also need to keep their recruiting up, and attacking food convoys would make that impossible.
They might steal some stuff I guess, but it wouldn't harm anyone, since the most that could happen is Hamas gets to fuel a car that gets blown up by an Israeli airstrike as soon as they try to do anything.

Has it been independently verified? The IDF has a long track record of lying about stuff.
Not yet. This is the word of the IDF and a recording released by them. You can listen to it here btw. https://www.israelnationalnews.com/news/379539
But so far in combination with the evidence/claims I posted earlier in our discussion, albeit released by the IDF, points towards Hamas stealing resources from hospitals and hoarding it for themselves. Which is consistent with their leader's values and their complete disregard for Palestinians' lives. Even one of Hamas' officials blatantly said himself that they do not care about Palestinians and that it is the UN's responsibility.
I'll wait for the independent verification to draw a conclusion, but that's pretty fucked up if it is true considering the Indonesian hospital generators stopped working today
My understanding that at the very least food, water, and medical supplies is being allowed to be sent through corridors negotiated by he US. https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing-room/statements-releases/2023/10/21/statement-from-president-joe-biden-on-the-delivery-of-humanitarian-aid-to-gaza/ With much more planned https://www.npr.org/2023/10/23/1207933357/another-convoy-of-humanitarian-aid-gets-into-gaza-over-the-weekend
The item that was not allowed is fuel as Israel claimed that Hamas has and will steal it. But the US and Canada have both claimed to be negotiating with israel to find out a way that would allow them to get fuel to Gazan hospitals.
