Matt had some sort of very serious medical issue. Haven’t heard from him in a 2-3 weeks until now.

It's most likely a stroke. I think linguistic ability takes a while to recover. His wife and Felix quote tweeted this positively so I'm gonna guess that it being nonsensical isn't a bad sign for his recovery.

Everyone seems to have noticed a few hours later so I think he snuck a tweet out at three in the morning, which I'm taking as a good sign that he's recovering fine.
