Translation:
Palestine Liberation Organization
We are all for the resistance
From the Palestinian National Covenant - Article 26
The Palestine Liberation Organization, representative of the Palestinian revolutionary forces, is responsible for the Palestinian Arab people's movement in its struggle - to retrieve its homeland, liberate and return to it and exercise the right to self-determination in it - in all military, political, and financial fields and also for whatever may be required by the Palestine case on the inter-Arab and international levels.
The Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) was established in 1964 and has been the embodiment of the Palestinian national movement. It is a broad national front, or an umbrella organization, comprised of numerous organizations of the resistance movement, political parties, popular organizations, and independent personalities and figures from all sectors of life. The Arab Summit in 1974 recognized the PLO as the “sole and legitimate representative of the Palestinian people” and since then the PLO has represented Palestine at the United Nations, the Movement of Non-Aligned Countries (NAM), the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC), and in many other fora. In addition to its broad national and political goals, the PLO has dealt with numerous tasks with regard to the life of the Palestinian people in their main communities and throughout the world through the establishment of several institutions in such realms as health, education and social services. As such, the PLO is more than a national liberation movement striving to achieve the national goals of the Palestinian people, including the independence of the State of Palestine with East Jerusalem as its capital.

什麽 is "shénme" or "shénmo"? Is this a Taiwan thing? Seeing it a lot in my music subtitles and a little confused. Beginner mandarin student here.
Shénme is standard in both Taiwanese and Mainland Mandarin. In this case, it may be the singer wants to make the pronunciation a little cuter (卖萌 màiméng) with shénmo.
There are some words which are classically pronounced differently in music, e.g. 的 de is pronounced as di in older songs, mostly because there is better resonance holding the i sound of di than the e sound of de. There could be something similar going on here.
Edit: could you link some of the songs? I'm curious now. It never stood out to me before but it may be a thing.
This is cool and helpful, thanks. I'm noticing a lot of other irregularities too and I'm not educated enough to know if it's the transcriber getting it wrong, or if it's just a regional linguistic thing that I hadn't learned yet.
Anyways here's a girly pop song for you all https://youtu.be/kU1KGu4IYfs?si=IbvDjqI7-jTRGAX3
I love this song, the film clip with 郑恺 is so much fun.
In this case, I think they have used something to automatically transcribe the pinyin. I've noticed a few mistakes possibly caused by line breaks and spacing including:
学长 xuezhang meaning 'senpai' or 'senior' (student in a grade above you) is incorrectly rendered as xuechang. 长 can be read differently depending on what it's paired with.
说话 shuohua meaning 'speak' is rendered as shuihua. 说 is usually only pronounced as shui in a few set phrases like 说服 shuifu meaning to convince or persuade.
重灌 chongguan meaning 'reset' is rendered as zhongguan
There are a few more but I'll leave it there. In the case of 什么 they've inputted the characters into the pinyin transcriber with a space between them. This caused it to render them separately as shi and mo.
Awesome thank you. Yeah I saw the shénmo and the shuihua and a 着 as "zhuo" and thought "that's not how I learned it, is this a mistake or is Taiwanese mandarin more different than I thought?
And yes, the music video is fantastic.
No worries! Glad we could get to the bottom of it.
It is a bit of a cutesy song. Last thing I'll leave you with (sorry for dumping!) is the title naogong is a cute pronunciation of 老公 laogong meaning hubby.
It's kind of similar to uwu speak done by replacing L and N in initial position. See also 蓝票 lanpiao meaning 男朋友 nan pengyou (piao sounds like pengyou pronounced a bit quickly and carelessly).
Have a good one!
Oh that's cute. I got the 老公/脑公 pun but didn't know there was a basis to it (I only recognize 脑 from 电脑)
