I believe this will mostly affects games which were lacking in technology.

I'd personally LOVE to see The Sims 1 or The Sims 2 re-released with performance and resolution upgrades, and, most importantly, made to be open world. Since they're older, I believe they could very easily render the entire map like The Sims 3, but with the charm of TS1 or TS2.

I cannot think of other games, since most games I see as adequate, whereas TS1 and TS2 were bound by system performance during their respective times.

The Ultima series, especially U4, 5, and 6. To this day they are some of the best stories told in gaming history, but their appeal is limited by the fact that they came out in the DOS era - remake them with Baldur's Gate 3 levels of production value and some QOL updates but otherwise don't change a thing and they would contend for the best RPGs of all time.

I remember wanting to play one of the Ultima games so badly on an old Win95 PC, but the game wasn't fully compatible and would play at like 5x speed. I see so many people reminiscing about how great the games were back in the day and it makes me a little sad I couldn't figure out the issue at the time.

I'd be all for a remake just so I could experience the stories.

Pre DOS, btw. I spent way too much time playing Ultima IV on a Commodore 64.
