Yeah I thiiiink I can detect a difference when I'm listening for it, but zero chance I'd have picked up on the voices being different if I didn't already know.
It's mostly Rick when he's shouting. Everything else is on-point. Even Roiland himself sounded slightly different last season so the transition isn't all too rough.
I think it’s most noticeable when he’s trying to add inflection for an emotion. Like when Rick says “baby” or “shut up” in the trailer, that’s the most notable for me.
Biiig difference to me - kinda annoying. I'm sure it'll grow on me eventually - but the show is loosing its pizazz, I hope they can turn it around.
