Or, just hear me out here, not everyone has the patience to constantly update mods for a game this early after its release? I LOVE modding BGS games, but I'm staying the heck away from anything but loose-file mods until things settle down.

No, Vortex can do it automatically - if you use that piece of "software." I'm content to wait for a stable release of ModOrganizer specific to Starfield and am installing things manually for now.
If you're going to be a pedant, it's better to fully commit. Insinuating that software isn't software based on your opinion isn't technically accurate, and thus undermines your self-righteous quibble, kiddo.
