Yeah, what a silly sequence they force. And then you think you have the design down but just change a hab type and the doors and ladders all move, like wtf!
I think the idea behind it is so that players don't have to awkwardly place doors or hatches manually. I wish the option for it existed though. Also stairs.
I'd rather awkwardly place doors and ladders, than have something out of MC Eshers darkest nightmares for a ship interior.
