I think for me Liftoff! Is hindered by it showing Lemmy.world (logged in as guest) by default even if you are logged into your own instance. That means you can see communities but can’t subscribe, post, vote etc. The UI is a bit clumsy around that. Certainly if you aren’t used to Lemmy (eg just come over from Reddit) it would confuse the hell out of you.
But it’s very early days and I’m sure the UX will improve.
Oh yes, we’re learning a lot about how people use the app and adapting what we started from!
