I remember when I was living with my dad after I flunked out of college. For awhile he limited my internet time, so I entertained myself with cable on demand services, and my dad had HBO. So one of the shows I watched was Real Time. I usually only got mad at him when he went on antithiest rants, because I was just a vanilla liberal at the time.
My dad is mostly apolitical (he doesnt vote because he wants to avoid jury duty, lol) but his opinions lean conservative when he does have them. So I was surprised when he said he actually liked Bill Mahr when I mentioned he, because he's "not afraid to tell it like it is" or whatever. Like I said, at the time I was surprised, how can my mostly conservative dad like this liberal?
I get it now.
