I find most video essayists exhausting. Critiquing culture and media is incredibly easy. Anyone can read some philosophy books and sound authoritative to someone whoโs never read anything
Flash that you've read Das Kapital and a quick wink wink nod nod to appease the libs and you've immediately captured the entirety of the "actual left" in the west ๐ฎโ๐จ
Meanwhile the REAL left are on here posting PPB ๐
One of my favorite and only exceptions to this is Alexander Avilla, his videos on autism self-diagnosis and queerbaiting were legitimately life-changing for me. The way he focuses on theory more and actually understands it is just so refreshing.
