Can I just say, I'm so happy that everybody banded together against them. Like a bunch of strangers on the internet grouping together to tell them, "No, you will not"

Honestly, lemmy is not bad, taking a little getting used to but there's so many communities being created I wouldn't be surprised if see a large migration over the next few months. It seems quite a few people have already made up their minds

I hope all the skids and the power hungry mods with agendas stay on Reddit, while all the normal people migrate over here. Wishful thinking...

Yeah, a lot of people to seem very open minded about Lemmy. I really hope it sticks through because I absolutely love the redditor community in general. A lot of like-minded techies, that are also in my generation (I'm a early millennial that grew up with late millennials) so a lot of interests and humor are shared :) I definitely agree with it needing to take a little getting used to, I hope more people share that mentality and give it a very fair chance
