Charles Martinet Who has voiced Mario since Super Mario 64 will no longer be lending his voice to the legendary plumber.

Nintendo have also confirmed that Martinet is not involved with the upcoming Super Mario Bros. Wonder which means both Mario and Luigi will be voiced by new voice actors.

Charles Martinet will continue to be involved with Mario in his new role as Mario Ambassador travelling to events around the world and meeting fans.

Martinet’s first Mario games were actually Mario Teaches Typing and Mario’s Game Gallery. Both developed by Interplay for the PC and both released in 1994. Super Mario 64 came out a bit later in 1996.

I never played Teaches Typing or Game Gallery, but Mario 64 blew my mind.
