There's liberals and there's liberals, right? It's like how Marx talks about the Petite Bourgeoisie.
They only have their own politics until the rubber hits the road: when they can no longer stay in buisness. When there's a movement that forces them to take sides. Some will side with the workers, others with the bourgeoisie.
Think about Amazon, right? When the workers started organizing, the white collar professionals walked out in solidarity.
On the other hand, think of John Deere where the managers became scabs, but at the same time some scabs committed sabotage.
We will win some over, we will lose some. But don't write them all off.
Yeah. I mean, there's Liberals who have the ideology of Liberalism (neo and otherwise), and then there's libs. Who think they're Liberals, but much like with 'communism and 'fascism', have no idea what the word means. We just use Liberals as a catchall term around here, because most of us know what we're talking about in the context. I'd say it's the same difference between a Capitalist (an owner of the Means of Production) and someone that thinks being a bootlicker makes them a Capitalist.
