The simmering feud between President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine and President Trump escalated on Wednesday when Mr. Trump mocked his counterpart in a post filled with falsehoods, calling him a “dictator without elections.”

His comments came hours after Mr. Zelensky said the American leader had been “caught in a web of disinformation” from Russia over the war in Ukraine.

The pointed exchange was set off by a meeting of American and Russian officials to open talks on ending the war in Ukraine that excluded the Ukrainian government. After that meeting in Saudi Arabia on Tuesday, Mr. Trump suggested that Ukraine had started the war, a comment that brought a strong rebuttal from Mr. Zelensky on Wednesday morning.

I honestly don’t have any faith in the established party leadership whatsoever. We’ll see how Ken Martin does - I hope he’ll be less feckless than Jeffries and Pelosi and Schumer and Biden and the rest of the “party nobility”, but my expectations are frankly at rock bottom these days. Anything more effective than complete capitulation would pleasantly surprise me.

Martin won't be any better he's just doing and saying all the things Democrats do after a loss. Once they get back a majority it will all come to nothing. At best they may try and impeach Trump again. Which will likely come to nothing, assuming it gets past the house, even after the 2026 elections since they are unlikely to take the Senate.

Now, if somone like AOC, or even Sanders, was leading the DNC I would have some hope. I don't even have hope we'll have a decent presidential canidate in 2028. This assumes of course there is an election in 2026 and/or 2028.

Get ready for Hillary vs Trump in 2028 (assuming we even have elections)

I’m not even convinced we’re going to have an election that fucking means anything in ‘26 or ‘28, to be perfectly blunt.
