(Bloomberg) -- Niantic Inc., the company behind the 2016 hit Pokémon Go, is in talks to sell its video-game business to Saudi Arabia-owned Scopely Inc., according to several people familiar with the discussions.

Representatives of Niantic and Scopely declined to comment. Scopely is owned by Savvy Games Group, a subsidiary of Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund.

Oh fuck no.

They ruined Stumble Guys, don't let them ruin Pokémon GO

That sounds bad. I like Pokemon Go. What kind of ruining are we talking about?

They turned Stumble Guys p2w, not to mention that when you open the game you get like 4 pop-ups for real life money stuff

There are emotes that can punch or kick a player to get them eliminated, and these are OP and locked behind the battle pass

Some people say Pokemon Go is already P2W. But as long as Community Days/shinies are still as available as they are with F2P, then I'll stick around and even give them some of my Google Play money, lol
