Just wanted to share my old retro game cart I built several years ago in my old house. I eventually moved to (mostly) emulation for convenience and because the cart didn't get used enough to justify the effort and space that it required. But for a few glorious years there it was pretty cool!

Anyone built out a movable gaming cart like this for your retro stuff?

This looks great, but I also understand why you got rid of it. I had to do the same and gave away all of my retro systems and CRTs all the way back to my Atari 2600. It just took up too much space for how little it was being used so I wanted that stuff to be in the hands of someone that would hopefully enjoy it.

Yeah it's a little bittersweet. But, honestly, I play more games now than ever before and the features that emulation provides means that more games are accessible to me. The kid version of me would've been stoked to see the cart, but would have be more stoked to see save states, fast forward, rewind, shaders, and cheats. Not to mention fan translations and romhacks!
