I want my day mildly ruined, not completely ruined. Please remember to refrain from reposting old content. If you post a post from reddit it is good practice to include a link and credit the OP. I'm not about stealing content!
It's just good to get something in this website for casual viewing whilst refreshing original content is added overtime.

The difference will be that we have guns and excellent communication technologies. Also, as a vet I refuse to believe our military members would obey such orders. That’s one of the things that was strongly taught when I was in, you have a responsibility to disobey an illegal order. The “I was just following orders” excuse hasn’t been acceptable for some time.
What makes you think that the laws wouldn't be changed to make it illegal? The Supreme Court has been bending over backwards to do what Trump wants for a while now, including giving him absolute immunity for any illegal act done that is vaguely related to his duties as president, and presumed immunity for anything that isn't related.
The idea that Americans' guns would be anything other than a handy means of suicide (as they have always been) is laughable.
Half the US doesn't even use the internet outside of Facebook, which is run by one of these assholes. You absolutely do not have excellent communication technologies. The tools you have extremely vulnerable to manipulation. We've only seen a taste of the horrific possibilities with Facebook controlling communication and the entire information space.
