The picture is Belgian
Yup if it was really Chile, there would be desert, abrupt mountains, vicunas and cougars.
Cyno here to explain:
The point of this meme is not to say that this property is located in Chile, but that it is long and thin, just like Chile on the map.
Until next time.
Tune in for more geography adventures!
Thank you, General Mahamatra.
Mmmh... Tell me more about that last one...
Had to look up βvicuΓ±aβ to see what it was. Looking at the picture on Wikipedia, I think I had just lumped them in with llamas. Thanks! I learned something today!
It's a luxury llama ;)
Is there a story to this?
These kind of lots are fairly common in semi-rural areas in NA tbh. No incredible drama to it. They already have a house with nice lawn. But want to sell the farmland as they don't want to farm. Sever out the house and garage, and you get weird shapes wedging into the farmland.
It's basically a relic of medieval land divisions
Peasants had small plots of land and due to road access requirements to transport goods you get these long narrow plots
Quite common in rural Quebec, you see these long fields especially along rivers.
I think the joke is.. chile is a long narrow country like this home
