It must really take some fortitude to get thru winter up there. I spent a few days in Berlin in January once. Never again.
as a swede this is yet another reason to hate climate change, it used to be that we got proper winters with actual fucking snow, but now it's all the same shit as england and northern germany gets: slush and rain and then it freezes over so the entire world is just one big ice rink then it melts again then you get more slush and it freezes again and aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
i would sincerely prefer a constant -20°C in the winter
at least in December you have cozy winter markets to get drunk on. or driven over
My first winter in Berlin was one of the hardest times in my life. That city is brutal in winter.
