They've been shielded from even critical support of China and other AES for so long they literally, not figuratively, literally cannot process that people exist that have beliefs that aren't Reddit Approved. They immediately assume it's bots or wumao. Human beings can't possibly hold these beliefs, so they must be Oriental hordes or actual robots.

We really need more bots. Amber bot, for old times sake, a bot bot, a combat liberalism bot that uses an LLM to make up completely unhinged mao quotes about doing kung-fu at Rothbard.

I have some free time in between jobs coming up. I'm thinking of working on some hobby programming projects. I think it'd be fun to work on some lemmy-compatible bots. I'm open to ideas on what they should do.

honestly, a combat liberalism bot that responds to comments with "lib", "liberalism" or the lib emoji with a randomly selected description of one of the types of liberalism and maybe one of the mao emojis could be so simple and elegant.
