No, real gambling is respectful of your time. They aim to take money as fast as possible.

Definitely not slot machines. They're known for having addicts stuck there all day. I definitely see the same thing happen at corner stores all the time, but with scratch off lottery games.

Exactly. And many slot addicts literally don't want to hit the jackpot because they want the steady dopamine hits from smaller wins.
