Dreams, Dreaming, etc.

I don't know if I became aware I was dreaming at the start of the dream or after having been dreaming for some time. Anyway I was on a long wooden bridge that was covered with snow which is ridiculous because I don't live close to anywhere that snows or travel to anywhere that snows. When I went to tie my shoelace in the dream i realised I was dreaming. Normally when that happens I wake up but this time I didn't. I was so excited I started jumping up and down in the dream shouting 'I'm dreaming, I'm dreaming!'. That's when I decided I was going to take control. My first thought was to fly which kind of worked but it was such a blur that I work up. So perhaps let that be a lesson, don't immediately try to fly if you realise you're in a dream.
