The elf should be using something with an insane amount of stopping power, like a 408 cheytac, or a 460 magnum.
something that screams out of the barrel and penetrates straight through any enemy armored or otherwise.
maybe even one of those new 17 caliber bullets that they put inside of the shell from a .556
Magnum rounds are Dwarven make. You gotta be dense and stocky to put those downrange without falling on your ass. Elven spec-ops prefer Creedmoor.
