FTFY, why shouldn't we try to have both parents around while we're at it.
At least 1 month off for both parents immediately after (maybe some weeks before?) birth. Then 1-1 year for each parent.
I'm from Estonia. Each parent gets 1 month off immediately after (though can be scheduled up to 1 month before due date too, but then you don't have the month off afterwards
This is followed by about a year and a half worth of paid days that can be used by either parent and the parent can also work at the same time so they double dip
Sounds like I'm already in the right country then.
I based mine off a hazy recollection of what I heard of Germany.
