"All of us at Centene are deeply saddened by Brian Thompson's death and want to express our support for all of those affected. Health insurance is a big industry and a small community; many members of the CenTeam crossed paths with Brian during their careers," said Centene Chief Executive Officer, Sarah M. London. "He was a person with a deep sense of empathy and clear passion for improving access to care. Our hearts are with his family and his colleagues during this difficult time."

Was he really? I find that extremely hard to believe.

I haven't seen any actual stories or quotes about this guy that he's an upstanding member of any community. It's all just professional praise and vague platitudes like "he was a generous man"

I mean, it's literally a fellow health insurance CEO saying that about him.

I'm sure Benito Mussolini would have claimed that Adolf Hitler was a person with a deep sense of empathy and clear passion for improving access to care as well.

I think only 28 employees responded to his death announcement in the company.
