Here's William Shatner, Bezos and the rest of the group moments after they experienced this.

Extra context:

spoilerShatner's wife died of alcoholism and he hasn't touched a drop since

Turns out billionaires aren't really human and don't experience any profound connection to our planet.

Came here to say that, sharing a small space with a soulless narcissist will take the edge off most experiences

Yeah and then there's Bezos there too!

Honestly, it's pot calling kettle. Shatner is a huge dick, most of the people that worked with him have a "Shatner" story to tell. It's karma when you have a moment and get it ruined by an asshole, just as you have ruined countless others.

I get it, it is a unique, once in a lifetime experience. But so is for a fan to meet him. So is a teenage actor meeting their idol after taking weeks to work up the courage. And he shat'nered all of those without any remorse.

There are a few moments that stick in my memory whether I like it or not and this one was up there with Jan 6. for me. Fucking billionaire assholes.

Same. Shatner's reaction on the day and what he wrote later have never left me, but I doubt Bezos remembers a word of it.

Damn that was hard to watch. Pure second-hand embarrassment. What an asshole.
