I'll just ask and attempt to answer for myself the following question alluded in the article:

How did this Jonard N. Pamor end up with enough money not just to produce his own biopic, but also to have Aljur Abrenica and Elizabeth Oropeza in it?

But then again, baka naubos sa talent fee ng dalawa yung budget for the rest of the movie.

A bit of searching online landed me on this article which quoted the following (ex)-Tweet from a film critic.

According to the movie, Jonard Pamor was hired as a security guard for a place called ‘Jeric’s Bakery and Grocery,’ and once had to fight off goons trying to steal 80 million pesos that they were inexplicably transporting in a black van…

Kaya ba yung 80M budget para sa movie na yan? Hahahahahaha!

Philbert Dy's review poked fun on how many times "Jeric's Bakery and Grocery" (yes, the entire store name) is mentioned in the movie, lmao.

He returns to home six years later, where he finds work as a security guard at Jeric's Bakery and Grocery. I mention the bakery and grocery, because it seems really important to the movie that it keep mentioning Jeric's Bakery and Grocery. Guys, if you're ever in Sarangani, look for Jeric's Bakery and Grocery.

Does Jeric's Bakery and Grocery have the funds for that movie? The more I learn about this movie, the weirder it all becomes.

Pwede bang kulto na lang sila at funds ng worshippers nila yung pinangpondo sa movie? Mas keri pa ng utak ko yun eh!
