I don't think Americans have any room to talk when they keep making anyone with a kansai accent talk like southern hick.
Socially speaking, what American accent is perceived most closely to a kansai accent?
I'm gunna take a different tack and say kansai should be Scottish only because yanen could so easily be swapped with ya ken amd ~~99% meaning preserved~~ is close enough in usage in enough areas that it's fuunny
Boston or New Jersey accent maybe? There's no 1 to 1 comparison.
We should leave all the kansai words as they are because there's no 1 to 1 comparison.
