During WWII, USSR armor crews, in their patriotic zeal to defeat Nazism, voluntarily took estrogen which was thought (and was later proven) to increase combat capabilities. These trans supersoldiers were the first to liberate Berlin. Thus we to this day call estrogen tank-E in their memory
