Democrats are literally doing that RIGHT NOW! How’s that working out for them?
The thinking man’s stupidpol is Maoist-third-worldism. Settlers was right, the western world is largely irredeemable and they are an ontologically bourgeoisie people.
Not just bourgeois, but petit-bourgeois! For the last century, it has been the goal of the ruling class to convince every worker that they're actually a member of the petit-bourgeoisie; every time you hear the terms "middle class" or "american dream", it is referring to this. This was done through offering homeownership and tying retirement to financialized investments in the market, which has successfully convinced many (predominantly white) workers to act against their class interests.
Now, after a half-century of the capitalists gradually tightening the screws, (again, predominantly white) workers are once again downwardly mobile, and they react as the petit-bourgeois always have: by turning to fascism.
