this is the flipside of the rabid antisemitic rage common to europeans. IIRC you can find a version of this in martin luther. he expected jews to mass-convert to protestantism now that the pesky pagan catholic nonsense had been cast off. when that didnt materialize (cos why would it lol, how self-centered can you be), he insta-flipped to the murderous rage phase.
