can't I block communities on instances I'm not logged into? (lemmy.world)

I have a Lemmy world account. But when browsing all. I see communities I'm not interested in clogging the feed. If they are from another instance is there no way to block them from appearing?

You should be able to open the post, and block the community that way. I have a huge number of communities from a few specific non world instances

I have tried that, but it says "not logged in, can't block" or something along that line. I feel like blocking any community should be available
