MODERATORS
The most
gate pandering game imaginable was "Subverse," which was crowdfunded by 
gaters and even advertised directly to them. It was a waifu harem porn game in space with a vague gameplay loop and no "politics" in a way that'd upset 
gaters.
They apparently found it boring and it didn't really make a splash.
