Anyone get an ad? Pretty clever to get people on a streak and banking on streak addiction to get ad revenue. I loathe ads so I went to browser, which still made me wait. Iβll probably keep doing that, but I can also see myself forgetting and stopping Wordle again.
Sad, but things must always get worse.
Yup I got one too. First time I recall seeing one.
On iOS, currently on 8 day streak, if thatβs relevant.

I'm on duckduckgo and haven't noticed any.
I always get a skippable add, sometimes a 5second skippable.
Iβve never gotten one until today. An irl friend in another time zone hit midnight first and got served the skippable ad. Then my SO and I both got one at midnight even though I checked Wordle a couple hours before. This led me to think it was set to roll out at midnight local device time, but I guess not!
I play in Firefox for Android with uBlock Origin enabled. I always see an ad screen, but it's always empty. Good blocker.
