Will never get over how the UK/Europe uses "scheme" as a perfectly neutral word. Over here if you have a scheme I'd expect you to be twirling your moustache villainously
i like to characterize every plan i make as a scheme or a plot, makes life a little more whimsical
I usually call them scams but I'm going to start calling them schemes too.

We also do it in Australia.
In Victoria we recently got the Container Deposit Scheme for example, which gives tiny refunds on plastic bottles and I assume does something evil with them
