Funny political comment aside - As a European I only knew about the New York style before. Although usually with roasted onions. Which is a shame, because especially the Chicago one looks awesome! What is the filling in the Miami variant?

Chicago Style Hot Dogs are famous and super tasty

10/10, definitely try one if you get the chance.

🙀 Onions aren't food!

... Canines also not food, dunno what's supposed to be funny there <.<

Anyway only the New York one looks at all edible to me 😅

Seattle style is also a thing if you're into regional dogs.

The meme itself is making fun of the very fake, very racist rumor being spread by the US right wing that Haitian immigrants in Springfield, CO are stealing and eating pets. I don't think it is successful in the parody here, though. If this was coming from an unknown source I would think it is trying to spread that rumor. The only reason I got that it was meant to be parody was the face that Chris is sharing it.

fact check! it's actually a shitty landlord putting dogs into people's lunches like usual

[–] scbasteve7@lemm.ee 1 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Why the fuck is a landlord in charge of people's lunches?

[–] match@pawb.social 2 points 2 months ago (1 children)

oh. sorry, should i explain the joke

[–] scbasteve7@lemm.ee 1 points 2 months ago

If you have to explain the joke, it probably wasn't worth making.

In my experience Miami style is usually melting cheese and potato chips. Looks like this one also has spicy mayo or something similar on top.
