How did Paramount+ lose a subscriber in this scenario?
They lose a potential subscriber in us, and Crave loses a return subscriber
If Paramount+ acquiring the rights to shows that you like ensures that you'll never be a subscriber, I suspect that potential was never really there...
They were getting royalties from @PerogiBoy through his content provider. Not anymore. It's not rocket surgery. Brain science. You get it.
Option A had everything in one place (they weren't just after Trek) for a single cost. Splitting platforms and increasing user costs while decreasing user convenience has now cost them income.
