John Z is one of the more interesting personalities in the UL and long-distance communities that I've been able to find. Here he manages to set the Colorado Trail unsupported FKT and create an entertaining video at the same time.

Last multi-day walk was about a year ago which is too long. Myself and a friend walked what was traditionally a religious walk in the West of Ireland. We're planning on something in the next month which is nice. It's so good for the head to just keep putting one foot in front of the other.

What about yourself?

Last year I walked across New Mexico on the CDT. The weather was unseasonably wet. I don't think I would do it again, but there's other stuff in NM that looks fun. I really like walking and there is nothing quite like the fluidity, spontaneity and simplicity of a walking trip.
