Am I weird if I'm not interested in deadlock because it feels too much like overswatch, and I'm still angry? I should just move on, I know, I'll work on it. Thanks for listening. Cheers!
I was interested in deadlock BECAUSE it felt like Overwatch with MOBA elements....but it turns out it's just a MOBA with a "similar" aesthetic to OW. And unfortunately, I don't like MOBAs so it's not for me!
Not trashtalking it here or anything. Just don't want you avoiding the game because you have the wrong idea about how it plays like I did
I liked OW1, hated OW2, and am in love with Deadlock. The similarities are superficial, it plays very differently!
The good news is valve has an entirely different way of fucking up their games, and it takes way longer. You'll get a solid decade out of deadlock if you start now.
