As the title says I’m curious if my peers love or loathe driving?

I’ve been able to drive for a few years but never really needed to until I got a job which is 45 miles away.

I absolutely love it and I can’t explain why. It’s quite cathartic, there lots of stimulation and it’s fun to watch all the other cars.

I get to drive through lots of poor traffic jams then on to country roads with lots of cows to shout good morning to.

My friends said I’d get bored of it eventually, spoiler: they’re never right, yet I’ve been doing 500 miles a week for a few months and it’s still so much fun. I don’t care about the weather or the traffic I just like being in the car.

It really depends on the traffic. Driving in bigger cities is pure stress and anxiety of overlooking something important and having an accident. Country roads are nice, as long as there are no slow cars in my way. The easiest driving is Autobahn at 170 kph or more. That's fun. What's not so fun is, when going below 130 kph because I can hardly focus at low speeds.

But generally speaking, driving is fun.
