Okay wait, how are Cyberpunk and Stardew both disappointments? If you'd mentioned Starfield I'd believe you but both those games are critically acclaimed and for good reason.
For my part, I've been playing No Man's Sky and I just restarted Tears of the Kingdom. I might dig into my retro library and start up Golden Sun though, it's been a while and I'm due for a replay.
My guess is at time they feel like jobs. Doing tasks all day often takes the fun out of doing more tasks.
