I even got an error page the first time I tried to load this post. Just like old times! ๐ฅฒ
Showerthoughts
A "Showerthought" is a simple term used to describe the thoughts that pop into your head while you're doing everyday things like taking a shower, driving, or just daydreaming. A showerthought should offer a unique perspective on an ordinary part of life.

Try lemm.ee instance. It is REALLY fast compared to lemmy.world or sh.itjust.works. And it is also general instance, not some theme-specific.
To be fair, lemm.ee has an entire order of magnitude less monthly users than world. I think it's at the perfect size, actually.
Check out mlmym if you want to see it resemble the old.reddit experience too.

This is all I want. Just text, nothing more. Just like reddit.compact version that they took away.
You know what's funny, there's sometimes a bug I'm encountering when I log in where it briefly logs me in as someone else (or at least sort of looks like it) before it redirects me to my own account.
Here is me briefly logged in as you, /u/ThisIsJohnny. Not even making that up, that's an actual screenshot from earlier today.
Wooow haha. Happy to have this though, regardless of early hiccups. 10 years on Reddit has left a surprisingly sizable hole in my daily routine.
The best part of this post, is the segue into the new !showerthoughts community
