r/personalfinance was a great one to read about financial situations and see advice given for each. Doesn't seem like c/personalfinance has had any posts for days.
I like to live vicariously and lurk in city subreddits. (Los Angeles, Phoenix, Denver, etc...if it's a city, I will lurk). It's a little lonely over here in that regard.
/r/videos that's where I used to get my daily shot of youtube. But with youtube starting to block ablocker it might be good for me to quit.
/r/fixedbytheduet would be nice as well, but lemmy doesn't allow uploading videos :(

r/fountain pens and the sheer volume of cat subs will be missed the most from me. Hopefully lemmy will grow to the point where troubleshooting help becomes as easy as it was on Reddit because, as many have said before me, google sucks nowadays.

There is a long reads lemmy! /c/longreads and /c/reads (i subbed both but longreads has more content but still not much content) I was just there and i'm too dumb and new to link it properly but i found it by seaching "all" from my lemmy.world account.
I just read a great piece about the people who do the manual work of annotating objects in images which are then used to train AI mods. read another about the nation of tuvalu and it getting destroyed by climate change.
Oh those must be new because they didnโt exist in the last two weeks. Thank you!
